Best Buddies

One done, 4 to go. Yes, I am counting toward the weekend. Had such a busy day at work. Today's LO was done based on Julie's sketch #18. Because 2 of the photos were already cut, it was kind of difficust to balance them side by side. As usual, I had to keep this order. I made the smallest one into a tag. For these, I actually have 2nd copies. I used to order double prints and gave some out, but I kept these. I may do another LO with the same pics. Julie's sketches have been really challenging. What makes it hard for me is circles and larger photos. Since my photos were already developed and they are small, I have been putting 2 together to fill a large photo block. I guess I just have to keep adopting sketches my way to accomodate my pics. The important thing is that I am having a good time in the process of doing it.

Won again.

I just found out that I won the random drawing on Page Plans yesterday. If you completed a LO and/or a card based on sketches yesterday, they would put you in the pool for drawing. Wow, I am so lucky. This challenge blog just started a few weeks ago, and is giving us really challenging sketches. They are also giving great inspiration to those create cards!

NSD Projects

Yesterday was National Scrapbook Day (NSD) and there were many events going on on different challenge blogs/sites. After I posted the LO yesterday, I was able to complete and submit some more. I had a very busy afternoon. Since I went to a store in the morning and went out to eat lunch with my family, I had a late start. 2nd one I completed was a card; from Chris' card sketch on Page Plans. They had 2 sketches out for us to challenge yesterday and all the entries would be pooled for drawing. This is my first card in a long time. I am glad I had this opportunity. Then I visited A Scrappin' Friendsy. They had problems with gallery and I didn't visit the site for a while. But something told me to check it yesterday and I was so glad I did. Their forum had just been reopend and NSD specials had started Thursday. I decided to take on a couple of challenges and I submitted 2 last night. And the last one I completed last night was Martha's jack. To celebrate NSD, there is going to be a drawing for all the entries linked by tonight. Can't wait to find out the result. The last LO I am posting today is for another challenge on ASF.

We went for a drive today.... drove down to Hattiesburg. It's been a pretty day. Since I stayed up late last night, I am sooooo tired. I didn't participate any challenge on SISTV. Maybe next year. Some scrappers kept up with their inspiring hourly challenges. Hat off to them!! Hope everyone has a good week.

The Night before Christmas

This was done for Break the Border challenge on Method Playground. Although that's the reason I continue to participate challenges, this really took me out of my comfort zone. I may reposition the moon and reindeer..... I had never done this much cutting!

Winner !!!!

I am sooooo excited. I was selected as a winner of Hybrid challenge on Method Playground. Of all the challenges I have participated so far, I think this would be the least likely for me to win. I had never try anything digital before. I guess, I will explore my Scrapbook Designer CD Rom some time. I am almost done with the current Out of Border challenge. I was definitely going to pass this time, but now that they selected me as a winner, I would challenge :)

Ok, here is my first LO tonight. Pencil Lines #82.

Cherish the moment

This layout was done based on Julie's sketch #17. The main part was supposed to be a big circle. But I don't have a circle cutter and if I was going to cut it myself, I would want it to be perfect on this page, I didn't want to try. I just rounded the corners instead. The bottom border looked to simple, so I placed the bracket there. The whole LO still looks too plain. Oh well, it's done anyway.
