These are the photos from when we went to pick blueberries. I scrapped this 2 pager based on a sketch from The Scrappiest. The actual sketch is for a single layout. But since I had multiple photos, I decided to extend the sketch into 2 page layout.

Cute Girl

I am so glad that the long weekend is finally here. I was so tired I slept in this morning. I just took the photo of this layout I created earlier this week. This was done based on the sketch from The Scrappiest. For the title, I chose "cute girl" because it was something I could come up with the letters left on the sheet. I am not planning to scrap much during the weekend. Have a nice Memorial Day!

Easter

Boy, this was hard! This page was created based on the sketch from The Scrappiest. The sketch itself looks cute, but I had hard time choosing papers. I first cut up a Basic Grey paper and My Minds Eye paper. But the papers I thought go together didn't really go well. Anyway I cut up 2 more papers into triangles before I settled on these papers used. I'm glad I finished it though.

Self-portrait

Here is the page I created based on Sketch 64 from The Scrappiest. A new sketch will be released tomorrow and I wanted to finish this one up today.

I just finished this page using the sketch #63 from The Scrappiest. I put some scraps together to create this one.

Snow on my car

I created this page using the current sketch from The Scrappiest. Yes, I am still working on those snow photos. I'm seeing the end of the tunnel though:) The sketch calls for 2 photos but I stretched the sketch a little horizontally and added one extra.

Beary Cute

Here is the layout I made using a sketch from The Scrappiest. I've been enjoying playing with their sketches. This is the sketch #53. I took these photos of my dd with her teddy. It was a birthday gift when she turned 4.

I have created a few love themed pages this past week and a half or so. I may do one more this weekend. This one was done using a sketch from The Scrappiest. Another cute sketch, don't you agree? I made this page monochromatic in the color pink for ScrapFit challenge as well :)

School Days

I had fun creating this page. I thought the horizontal border being above the photos rather than under the photos was unique. I made it using the current sketch from The Scrappiest and with mostly Cosmo Cricket papers. The day those photos were taken was her very first day of Middle School and her very first day of riding a school bus. All the way thru her elementary years, we took her to school in the morning and picked her up in the evening. Anyway, on that day, it started raining and I was waiting for her outside. The rain got harder and harder and although I was holding an ambrella, my jeans got soaked. The funny thing is.... it was just a shower and by the time her bus got here, it had stopped raining!!

These are the pages I created last week. All done based on sketches. I just love working with sketches. They do make my scrapping easier. They eliminate a great deal of my frustration. There are lots of talented scrappers out there to keep me busy. I am so grateful for them to share their designs. Care Free

Happy Sunday! It's still cold here. 21 degrees at 11:00 in the morning..... I will be drinking coffee and hot tea all day. I am posting this layout this morning that I created yesterday based on a sketch from The Scrappiest. Some of my favorite sketch and challenge sites closed at the end of December and I had been eying on The Scrappiest for a while. It's January.... a new year, a new month, new goals.... it's a good time to start something new. I have some old cardstocks that I want to use up this year. Those are the ones that came in a multi color packages and I don't particularly like the colors. For this page, I used a violet color one for the background. I glimmer-misted to tone down the color.
