Wrapping up the week...

I am posting the rest of the pages I created this week since last Saturday post. I just went thru my photo folder and did some counting. I scrapped 38 pages and 12 cards this month!! No wonder this month went by soooooooo quickly. I really want to scrap some more this afternoon, but I'm gonna close out all the browsers and work on my taxes........maybe.

Joy & Christmas Memories

It's raining out here and it's a good time to catch up with my layout posting. These pages here are the ones I made during this week. The first one was done based on a sketch from 52 Sketches...52 Weeks which, by the way, is closing at the end of this month.... so sad...**sigh** I received a great December kit from Scrapbook Kit Club earlier in the week and when I saw those pretty Christmas goodies, I had to use them right away! It was my prize from Sketchy Thursdays. My second page is of old Christmas photos. I used Pink Paislee's overlay that had a frame design. This is my first time using 12x12 overlay. I placed a white cardstock under the photos. Other papers, flowers, rub-ons, etc are all on top of the overlay.

This is my entry to Oct. 16th challenge at the Studio. I used new and old papers and mist. The pics are of my dd.

I'm glad I finally got around to do this one. I made this page and the card for October 1st challenge at The Studio. It is to use hand-cutting only, at least 3 patterned papers, and to make a card and an embellishment out of the left over papers. I realized when you don't use a trimmer or a punch and use only the scissors, it could be quicker. I also made a flower out of a strip of paper and made this simple card.

Here is a page I just finished. This was created for the latest challenge at The Studio. It is a twice-a-month challenge blog I recently discovered. September 16th challenge is to use a non-traditional shape, to have a summer theme, and to include a long title. My dd used to love picking up things that belonged outside! especially in summertime :)
