Inspire
This was my first time to scrap with this color combo-- brown and orange. It was kinda hard because these colors blend each other very easily. I did this for a challenge at Use Your Stash.

Unforgettable
I scrapped a couple of Disneyland photos for this week's Use Your Stash challenge. It is to use 3 different pattern papers from 3 different manufacturers. I used Basic Grey, Making Memories, and Kaisercraft. These are all from my scrap stash. So I am very pleased about that.

Sweetheart
Happy hump day! I just finished this page using paint. It is this week's challenge over at Use Your Stash. I wish I could come up with some clever idea with it but after staring at the papers for a while, this is all I could think of. Kinda boring. But I like to keep it simple. I used the crimper for the first time in a looooong time!

Spin
I made a page using a piece of fabric last week. So this is the second one this month. To tell the truth, I am not comfortable doing it yet. I have used fabric on a few layouts before but I just don't have any creative ideas other than to use like a piece of patterned paper. Anyway there is a challenge going on at Use Your Stash this week and I decided to give it a try. I picked the green fabric and made this page colorful.

Getting some pages done...
is not so easy sometimes. I had 3-day weekend and I thought I was going to create a lot more pages than I actually ended up with. One of these 2 I am posting today was done yesterday. I have a couple more great sketches to work with but just can't pick the photos... Anyway, the first one on here was inspired by STM's song, 1234. I used Pink Sketch #21 to create this page. The second one was based on So Sketchy sketch. I also did this for Tara's song challenge (title) and UYS's ribbon challenge (I made a ribbon flower and wrapped around the heart chipboard).

Special & Thankful
We attended a funeral yesterday. It was 5-hour drive away and we left home 6:30 in the morning and didn't get home until after 10:00 at night. I am not going to write about it here but one thing I wanted to mention is that things like this always make me appreciate everything. I am thankful for the simple fact that I am here typing this post. Anyway I was so tired this morning and couldn't start anything until mid afternoon. These 2 pages are of the photos from a drive we took along Palos Verdes coast. "Special" was done for Use Your Stash button challenge and "Thankful" was done based on Rough Draft #6 and also done for The Story Matters. I used buttons on this one, too.

More LOs today
I finished 2 layouts today. Both for challenges. The first one is for Method Playground and Use Your Stash. Both had rub-on challenge. The title, brackets, decorations on top of photos are all rub-ons. I don't have many rub-ons and can't be very generous with them (lol). The second LO was for the new challenge blog, Get your MOJO on. Their first challenge was to create a page about a word that means a lot to me. In my head, there was a picture/formula, humor --> laugh --> happy --> peace. I just love to watch her being silly. I didn't like the color of the button and painted it pink. These LOs turned out quite simple. For better, clearer images, please see my gallary.

You & Me
I was going to make this layout a lot simpler. But I added a couple more chipboards and a piece of ribbon. There was this coffee shop on Main Street there and everytime we went, we would get coffee and maybe a muffin and sit outside and watch people walking by. Done for Use Your Stash September challenge.

Home is...
This is a 13-year old photo. Since I scrap old photos, I often think about the past. Time is the strangest thing; it goes fast, it goes slow, it is there, it disappears... We will have 18th anniversary next month. It doesn't seem like it though.... We now live in the 4th house we call home. I did this layout for The Story Matters and Use Your Stash. I sat out the first 2 challenges on The Story Matters and I am glad to participate this time. Use Your Stash has patterned paper challenge this month.
