Luv U, Rolling

The first LO "Luv U" is based on Pencil Lines #77. I have a few more LOs to post tomorrow.

My Blankey

This layout was done last Wednesday. It is for Method Playground's paper piecing challenge. Sun, moon, mirror and carrots are the items on the actual play mat on the photo.

My camera broke ?!!

I finished a layout and was going to post. Then unthinkable happened. My camera is not working!! Can't believe it. I've been using it everyday and it worked just fine yesterday. I am mad. I am sad. I am upset. I guess I have to either have it fixed or buy a new one. I suppose Economic Stimulus Payment will really be used just as expected. I have to file tax first though. It's time to do it anyway. If my camera is not working tomorrow and I don't post anything (not that waiting for a day will make my camera work), I will be doing taxes.

D is for darling

This is for sketch #12 of 52 Sketches...52 Weeks. The shape (I don't know what it's called) that a chipboard letter"d" is on is something I wanted to use. You would see them a lot on any galleries. But I haven't seen them at the craft store I go to. So I hand-cut it myself. I am pretty happy with the outcome.

Feed me, Princess

I made a change on the layout I did yesterday. Took off yellow card stock and used a patterned paper. I didn't think I could do anything else without damaging the ribon frame so that's all I did to it. But I think it looks better. 2nd layout is of the last photo taken in the hotel room. And it is for A Scrappin' Friendsy's this week's challenge.

Exhausted, Feed me

Happy Easter!! It's a little cold to me, but it is sunny and looks very pretty outside. We had Easter dinner at home just ourselves this year. I've eaten a lot of ham and am still very full.
Too bad that scrapbooking doesn't burn as much calories...
Here are two LOs I have completed so far today. On the second layour, I was going to tuck the ribbon on all sides, but as I was doing so, I realized I didn't have enough to do that. So this is how I did. Also, I was going to use a patterned paper on background. But I changed my mind and that turned out to be a bad choice. I really don't like this one. I couldn't sleep last night and I am too tired to do anything about it now...

Hey!, Golden Gate Bridge

I used a sketch from Page Maps Dec 2006 on the first one. Sencond one is a 2-page layout that I feel I should have added some more something. Oh well...

No title, Lombard Street

I like to scrapbook Friday evenings. During a week, I have to go to bed at reasonable time, so that I wouldn't be too tired at work the next day. But I don't have to worry about that Friday nights. :) So I usually stay up late. And that's what I did tonight. I have done 3 pages and am posting 2. I will retake a picture of the last one tomorrow morning. It's always hard to take pictures in my room at night time.

Now, the first one is really nothing. In fact I almost didn't post. I am not sure it could still be called a layout. But I have pages like this every now and then or I will never be able to scrap all my photos. I was going to put these 3 photos and 2 photos of Lombard Street on a same page. But I decided to do a separate one for those 2 photos.

Smile, no title, SF Bay

The layout, "Smile" was done for gettin' sketchy, sketch #9. This is my first entry to that challenge blog. The second layout is a continuation of "Fisherman's Wharf" I posted yesterday. The last two are photos of San Francisco Bay. There is this challenge on A Scrappin' Friendsy to use multiple photos and I happened to have that many photos :) Besides I always stick in as many photos as I could.

Sea Breeze, Fisherman's Wharf

The circle on the first layout had been cut already. I cut it when I was working on the layout, "Hollywood Baby" the other day. It turned out a little too small and I didn't use it. I normally arrange everything first, then start using adhesives. This time I just started putting them on from the beginning. I put a sticker on the big tag. It was right color and right size. I applied ink around the tag, around the circle and around title circles. (52 Sketches...52 Weeks #11)

Find Happiness

Hope everyone's Monday was good. I had started this layout last night, so it didn't take long to finish tonight. The photo in the middle was already cut like that. Though I thought of trimming a little, I decided to leave as is.

Bigger Me, Bigger Carseat

Julie's sketch #10.

Yesterday, we went to see St. Patrick's Day parade in downtown. Here are some pics I took.

Hollywood Baby

I spent more time scrapping this layout than I normally do. That's because of the beads I threaded. It was a sunny day and she was wearing shades. I got this title from that. I don't have a circle cutter, so I wouldn't be able to make a perfect circle. I hand-cut the circle and distressed all around it. (PL #75, MP)

Got Tired, Dressed & Ready

Scrapped photos from a trip to San Francisco. We had dinner with friends on the first layout. When we got back to the hotel room, she had pulled her bonnet down and asleep. 2nd one has photos taken in the hotel room.

Princess

Today was my daughter's birthday and we went out to eat. I knew I wouldn't have much time tonight, so I had started this layout last night and finished tonight. (based on Pencil Lines #4)

Layouts

4 quick pages I completed today. I don't adjust well to time changes....

Angel Face

I had to charge the battery before uploading the pictures tonight. Since we are losing an hour, I didn't stay up this late, but here I am.
I did just one layout today. I used 2 snap shots from a drive to Big Bear. (Pencil Lines #74)

I also added some buttons to the flowers below.

You are always special.

Happy Friday! For today's layout, I used glittered paper and brads. Used Sizzix dies for title and flowers. (52 Sketches...52 Weeks #9)

5 Months Old, Big Bird

Tonight, I scrapped 2 layouts. I didn't spend that much time doing but I like how they turned out.

fun

I haven't posted this layout I had done during the last weekend.

Bath Time

All I can say about today's layout is that it's still a page that goes into the album and I can move onto next photos. I was so tired and sleepy I just wanted to finish. I used some paper strips and patched like you do quilting with fabrics. I pasted 5 strips of papers side by side on a card stock, then turned 90 degrees and cut into 5 strips. After that I turned tham 90 degrees and pasted them on another card stock moving one square to the left on each strip. What got outside of the card stock was cut and pasted on the right space of the same strip. The horses and other pictures are what I had cut out from baby cards received when she was born.
