This was done for BASB's current challenge. It is to scrap what irks you. I sat out the last challenge and wanted to participate this one. But it took me a while to come up with the idea. Since I am working on my dd's album, I picked these photos from the next set of photos I am scrapping. She loved floating but didn't like to be splashed. I used Page Plans sketch #45. It's a loose interpretation of the sketch.

I started this page last night and just finished. Did this for Cafe Mojo's lace/ribbon challenge. I also used a Pink Sketches' sketch. Used Mardi Gras colors :) The photo is one of many I took when we went to see the float display on 1/2/05.

Dreamgirls is having American Crafts challenge. I had 2 sheets of papers and some embellishments. The chipboard hearts are also American Crafts. I cut leaf-shaped ones and made them into the hearts. I feel this page needs some improvements. It is not balanced or something. But it's done for now. I cut out some leaves and cut a circle out of the flower pattern paper yesterday morning. I flipped what was left of the leaf paper and adhered onto the brown cardstock. I went ahead and adhered the circle and photos. I was going to scraplift myself with the layout I made 2 weeks ago titled Charming. But after that, I couldn't arrange leaves and flowers the way I liked. So I left it alone until this evening. Therefore, this is the only page I finished this weekend.

I made another page with this same sketch from 52 Sketches...52 Weeks that I used yesterday for the layout, Sweetie. I had such a hard time yesterday and was not very happy with it. So I just had to do another one. I like this one much better. During Love Fest Crop over at WeScrap 2 weekends ago, there was a challenge to use bling. So I decided to get this one done for it as well. I also created 2 more pages tonight!!! 3 on a weekday night!! I will post them tomorrow (hopefully). I've got to go to bed.....

In attempt to use up Sassafras paper scraps, I made this page. I still have just a little scraps left. I created this page based on 52 Sketches...52 Weeks #7 sketch. The background paper I chose doesn't really go with the rest of the papers but I just couldn't find a perfect match in my stash.
is not so easy sometimes. I had 3-day weekend and I thought I was going to create a lot more pages than I actually ended up with. One of these 2 I am posting today was done yesterday. I have a couple more great sketches to work with but just can't pick the photos... Anyway, the first one on here was inspired by STM's song, 1234. I used Pink Sketch #21 to create this page. The second one was based on So Sketchy sketch. I also did this for Tara's song challenge (title) and UYS's ribbon challenge (I made a ribbon flower and wrapped around the heart chipboard).

This photo needs no explanation :)
Cafe Mojo's current Moca Mojo Friday is to use a border punch. Since I don't own any, I used these punches to create the borders. All the scalloped edges on my layouts are made with this corner rounder.

I had a busy weekend! I created 10 page over the weekend. I created 3 on Friday, 6 on Saturday, and 1 yesterday. I participated in Love Fest Online Corp at We Scrap. They had lots of fun challenges and games. I thought I was going to do more yesterday but I was kind of tired in the morning and decided to join in the games. One game was to name 16 papers and I spent way to much time on it. I could just send in my best answers but my personality wouldn't let me do just that. So I made a wild guess and started searching online.... In the end, I got all of them right :) I felt a lot better :) The last page posted here was also for a Love Fest challenge but I used Pink Sketches sketch.

When I found out new challenge being journaling on the photo on Method Playground. I hesitated. I thought maybe.... maybe not. Because I don't usually play with the photos themselves. But then new challenge on Dreamgirls included journaling on the photo as well. Then I decided to try. I just added text to a photo and printed it. Another element on Dreamgirls challenge was to use something clear as a background. I don't have any overlays or acrylic. All I have is some transparency frames. So this is what I came up with.

2 layouts today. The first one was done based on Page Plans #42 and the second page was done based on 52 Sketches...52 Weeks #5. Both are of the photos taken on the same day. She loved Barney at that time. I bought the pool at KB Toy store. I think that was the last time we used that pool.

This page was created based on a sketch from Scrappy Times. I am not very happy with this one. I should have placed the title a little left of where I put. It is not balanced and I tried to make it look better by adding dots to make the circle bigger. Not successful.... but oh well... I these photos, she had put stamps all over her left arm. She thought it was funny. Well, it was. But it took a couple of days to get them off!!

I still can't believe that it's February already. I can't say this enough. Time flies way too fast!! I wanted to share what I just saw. The brand new collection, Magical Wishes on Webster's Pages. They are adorable, pretty, beautiful, amazing and fairy. Wish my local craft store would carry them.....

It's February, the month of love... I guess. So my layout to start February is about love, pink, red, and heart. I tried to make it cute rather than beautiful. The stitching is rub-on. This is based on Pink Sketch #19. This is also for SYC (pink and red), Create Make It Happen (love), and Tara's All Tangled Up (pink and stitching).
