Hello

Happy Friday Eve!! I am so glad for that. Here is a layout I just finished. I did this for Cafe Mojo's rub-on challenge. The picture is from our visit to Disneyland. In Toon Town, everything is round and funny looking... makes you feel like you are in a cartoon :)

Happy Memories

Here is a page I did using paint. It is the current challenge over at Cafe Mojo. I really wish I could come up with some clever idea but this is all I could do....

Full House & Play Time

I finished 2 today. The first one was done for Cafe Mojo's tearing challenge. These photos were taken a little over a month after we moved in. We don't live there anymore and I miss it so much. On the second page, I used up some left overs from the pages I created last week or so.

Color My World

What's easier than to use flowers? The current challenge on Cafe Mojo is to use flowers. I didn't have any problem with this one :) This photo was taken at Disneyland. We were in line for Pirates of Caribbean rides.

Jasmine & Aladdin

An edge distressor is my favorite tool to use. I use it very often. So the current challenge at Cafe Mojo was an easy one for me to participate. I had fun distressing :) This photo was from 2005 when we went to Disneyland for my dd's 11th birthday. We used to live very close to it... I scraplifted a page from Tara's blog.

Summer Fun

Here is my page using MME papers I bought this weekend. This was done for Cafe Mojo. This will also be submitted to The Story Matters and {Create}. They all have summer theme. I included the cluster of flowers for Tara's challenge :) And there is a new challenge for the girls like me called Pile It On. Although there are some challenge blogs that don't want you to combine any challenges, this one wants you to!! Now as much as I try to create a separate page for different challanges, I DO love to combine. There are so much to do and so little time!!

The Best of Times

I went to a grand opening of new Michaels this afternoon. The floor layout of this store was a lot different from other Michaels that I know. And it seemed to have a lot more scrapbooking supplies. What's better is that it is located right across from Hobby Lobby I go to for my supplies and it's a lot closer than another Michaels. This also means I can get different brands. Today, I got some Prima flowers and a paper pad. The pink paper and the flowers on this page are from my purchase today. This was done for Cafe Mojo's stitching challenge. I also sanded the photos. I tried sanding once before but found it kinda hard. This time I placed the photos on the edge of tin and sanded and it was so much easier.

My Little Cupcake

I am so glad today was a holiday. It's storming outside now. I feel a lot better today and got a few pages done. This page here I created this morning is for Cafe Mojo's eyelet challenge. That is a kind of challenge I can always use. This design is a new sketch on 52 Sketches...52 Weeks.

Picture Perfect

Happy Friday Eve! I created this page for the inking challenge on Cafe Mojo. Inking is something I do often so I wanted to do something a little different since it is a challenge. I punched holes around the edged card stock using eyelet setter, then applied ink while covering the cardstock with scrap papers to create straight lines. I'm glad I was able to do this page... today is the last day to participate. These are Rose Parade float photos (again).

Bear Family

Another page with Rose Parade float photos. Cafe Mojo has a button challenge this week. This is my entry for it.

Real

I put these little pieces of ribbons to make flowers because Cafe Mojo's sponsor challenge is to use ribbons in unique way. I'm sure it has been done by someone somewhere already. But I never did it before and I like how they turned out. These are Rose Parade float pics.

Sesame St.

Here is another page with Rose Parade float pics. I used piercing on this page. It is the current challenge on Cafe Mojo. I was going to use a patterned paper under the photos but couldn't find anything that matches with the photos so I decided to do without. Piercing is a very economical way to decorate a page!

Spring is in the Air

I'm glad I finished this tonight. Cafe Mojo's current theme is "spring is in the air" and I scrapped this page based on Pink Sketch #27. I have a few more pages I want to finish this week and I'll see if I can pick out papers tonight.

Float

I did another page using the photos of Rose Parade floats. I did this for Cafe Mojo's embossing challenge. I embossed the border with swirls template. Also I embossed using paisley template, applied some ink, then cut into the flowers.

Life is a love...

This week's challenge on Cafe Mojo is a fairly easy one. It is to use staplers. Here is my simple page.
