Happy Friday! I used some of already cut papers. Sewed the big photo corner and a strip of paper by the right picture. Used "3"s for "E"s.

Peek-a boo
This was an easy easy layout. I tore papers into strips and applied chalk around the edge. I am happy I was able to use a couple of dinosaur eyelets. The receiving blancket in the pictures has dinosaurs on it. She started to move more and more, and I remember she made us laugh when she covered her face with the blanket.

Too Cute.
I patched already-cut-up papers on today's layout. I now have so many left over paper pieces. It's hard to see on the picture but rub-on is used on title. 2 purple flowers are brads.

Megan---what the name means
The current challenge for Method Playground is "No Photo Allowed". Since I am creating my daughter's albums, I wanted to do something that can go in her album. I had left emply the very first page of the first album thinking I would create a title page later on. I came up with this idea of doing her name and what the name means and I thought this was a such a good idea. :) When she was born, I cross-stitched birth date, length, and weight. I got this idea from it. I placed a chart over the paper and poked holes first. Then I cross-stitched like you would on a fabric. I have cut flowers from an American Crafts paper. The bookmark is something her grandmother gave her a long time ago. This layout will be the title page.

Little Megan & Are Your Comfy?
I completed sketch #70 and #71 of Pencil Lines today. "Little Megan" has photos of her from 1 month old to 3 years old.
In this 2nd layout, she has both her arms behind her back. In the picture in the crib, she managed to hold her blanket between her arms. I have more pictures of her sleeping with her arms like that. They will come up sometime. But to do sketch #71, I skipped some pictures so I am going back to where I was before.

My Problems
The problems I have sometimes make scrapping difficult.
1. I have to have photos in order. Even among the photos taken at the same event, I want them in order of photos taken. And I have to know the dates. Today's photos never should be before yesterday's.
2. I have to keep everything. Even the photos turned out blur. I simply can not pick and choose to make my pages look nicer.
3. It is very hard to crop the photos. From a clutter on the corner of a photo to the lace of the edge of a blanket to a cheap figurine on the side table, I want to remember everything. So, it is hard to cut a picture smaller or to cover with stickers, etc.
I am putting these things before artistic side of scrapbooking. What I mean is when it may look better arranging pictures in a different order or cutting them smaller, or putting an embellishment on a photo (especially on a person) , I rather have my layouts look unbalanced.
So, as much as I want to try a lot of challenges out there, to do a layout using a sketch of the week may not be easy for me. Since I am currently scrapping baby pictures, I've got to use the next pictures on my old album. They may not fit a certain sketch and I can not use just 3 when I have 4 pictures from the same event. Anyway, I decided to skip some pictures and chose the pictures to do a couple of challenges. Hopefully, I can scrap them tonight. And in the course of my daily scrappings, I may sometimes be able to challenge myself to concur these issues.

2nd Family
Tonight's layout brings a lot of memories. Megan's babysitter and her family visited us. Three of the photos used had been already cut like they are and I didn't know what else to do. I used ink pad where the title is. I used stickers for the title. I also have added a few layouts on my gallery.

10 Things Mom & Dad miss about baby Megan
This afternoon, we had a very bad storm. We had power outage for a few hours. A part of back fence got knocked down and some shingles flew off of the roof.
My husband and I went to Hign School orientation this evening. Our daughter will be in 9th grade next year. I continue to scrap old photos.

Center of Attention
This layout is the result of my effort to cover the shapes of the photos (except the large one) that I had cut into beyond repair. Title letters are pink vellum. Papers are of Laura Ashley design. I bought them a long time ago. I inked around the edge of tags with green ink. Also I have added a couple layouts to my SIS gallarey recently.

Tiny Fingers, Tiny Toes
Good morning. I worked on this easy layout this morning. Every little movement she made and every little sound she made made us smile and laugh, and made us so proud. I sometimes miss those times... baby smell, having a baby around....

Our Sweet Baby Girl & 3 Months Old
My husband and I took 4 girls to shopping today. We drove them from a store to a store to some more stores.
The picture of my daughter holding toy key ring was taken on the same day as the pictures on the previous layout. But this photo didn't go with the colors I had with it, so I didn't include this photo in that layout. It is not really a great photo that I would especially choose to do a page just for one photo, but the paper with flowers I used on the previous layout kind went with the background of the photo (blue comforter). I will add journaling on the bottom tomorrow. My daughter and her friend are on the other computer that has a printer connected to right now. The title is rub-on. 2nd layout "3 months old" was done very quickly. Just stickers and flowers with brads. I will spend the rest of the night watching tv....

Crazy for you
Weekend is finally here! I had hard time choosing papers this time. I cut a part of "d" to make an "a" in the title.

Joy
Happy hump day!! One of my co-workers is transferring to another department and girls took her out to lunch today. I had crawfish alfredo and it was delicious!
This layout is based on a sketch from Aug 2006 PageMaps. I was not going to put a border at the bottom until I realized I left too much space there.
