This past month has gone by very quickly. Just one week to Christmas and 2 weeks to the year-end. I am planning to finish up wrapping the gifts this weenend and to bake early next week. I have a bag of pecans and want to make a pumpkin bread with pecans in it. That means I need to go to a store and I kinda dread it. Anyway, I scrapped this monthly layout last night. Sometimes, it takes forever just to pick out papers. Well, this time, everything went so smoothly. I followed the sketch very closely and that made it even easier. No distressing and not much textures on this one. But I am pretty happy with how this one turned out :) One more to reach my goal!! Happy Holidays everyone and see you next month :):):)

Project 12 -- October
It's that time of the month.... time to post the monthly double for Project 12. Once again, I managed to scrap the monthly 2-pager. This is it. This is the only layout that I complete this month. Thank goodness for the fab sketch. It made it so easy to put these pages together. The photos turned out kinda dark but I say those moments were just as precious. With the October sketch done, there will be only 2 more... And those last 2 months include holidays. We'll see how many photos I will be taking. I haven't really taken that much lately.

Project 12 August
This is my monthly layout for Project 12. I have been MIA for a while but I haven't quit scrapping. I am just taking a break for now. I am trying to complete this project and hoping to go back to my scrappy routine.

Project 12 July
July would be a month of events and many photos to lots of people out there, I think. But These photos on this 2 pager are it for me. Yup, these are the only photos I got from the month of July and they are all my dd's self portraits. She was in and out all the time with her friends and I just didn't have any opportunities to take photos. She went to Six Flags and came home with no pictures!! She and her friend didn't even take a camera!! Anyway, at least I was able to scrap my monthly 2 page layout for Project 12.
Hot Fun in the Summer Sun
ScrapFit just turned 1 and to celebrate their 1st anniversary, they are hosting a blog hop. With this blog hop, not only you can be inspired by the DTs' creations but you can also participate in a scavenger hunt and also create your own page. The blog hop challenge is a recipe challenge and here is my page.

Sun-kissed
I am posting this page I created using a sketch from Imaginisce. Naturally, the most of the supplies used are their products. I used papers, ribbons, and rubons from Imaginisce. These photos are from our trip to Panama City, Florida in 2006.

Because of You
Just a quick post to upload this layout that I created based on a sketch from Sassy Lil' Sketches. I love this sketch so much, I've got a feeling that I will use it again.

Blueberry Picking
I created this page for the current challenge at ScrapFit. It is to scraplift one of the DTs' layout. I lifted Katie's layout she did for workout #15. I really like how this one turned out. I'm thinking maybe I can make this design into a 2 pager.
In my camera
This is one of the 2 layouts I scrapped last night. It is created based on a sketch from Sassy Lil' Sketches. I check their sketches on each reveal, but I have not been able to work on them as much as I want to. So I am so glad that I got this one done.

Blueberry Farm
These are the photos from when we went to pick blueberries. I scrapped this 2 pager based on a sketch from The Scrappiest. The actual sketch is for a single layout. But since I had multiple photos, I decided to extend the sketch into 2 page layout.

It's snowing!
My computer has been acting up and it really frustrates me. My attempt earlier to create a post failed and I am trying for the second time today. Anyway, this page is my entry to the current challenge at ScrapFit. It is to add handmade embellies. I made 5 flowers and lined them up. I was also able to finish scrapping the snow photos from that day. Yay!! Since I already have multiple pages of these snow photos, I don't need a long journaling. I may add a few lines later.

Brand New
Can't believe it's already July!! This year's half way over!! June was a very slow month scrappywise for me. I'm hoping to create more this month. Here is my entry to the current challenge at American Crafts. It is to use Thickers Accents. I applied ink on the white Thickers and coated with glossy accents. The little glitter flower is also a Thickers :) Here is the supply list. Papers: Pebbles, Inc., Chipboard: American Crafts Thickers, Brad: Making Memories, Letters: American Crafts Thickers, Flower: Prima, Fabric: American Crafts

Project 12 -- May
I just put together this 2 page layout. I didn't do any scrapping for the last 2 weeks and am hoping this will put me back onto the scrappy routine. I even thought of skipping this monthly layout this month. I will be adding a little more journaling but I wanted to post this first since today is the last day to submit this Project 12 page to Scrapbook & Cards Today.

Scraplifting is one of my favorite things to do and that's the current challenge at Method Playground. Deb's layout that we are lifting is so adorable and inspiring. Here is my version.

{smile}
I enjoy scraplifting. The current challenge at American Crafts is scraplifting. This was a great opportunity. Their blog is loaded with fabulous layouts and cards. I chose a layout titled "I'm a star" by Mary Jo posted on 5/6/10. And here is my version. (Supplies: papers: American Crafts, Basic Grey, die-cut: KDC, Thickers: American Crafts)

Cute Girl
I am so glad that the long weekend is finally here. I was so tired I slept in this morning. I just took the photo of this layout I created earlier this week. This was done based on the sketch from The Scrappiest. For the title, I chose "cute girl" because it was something I could come up with the letters left on the sheet. I am not planning to scrap much during the weekend. Have a nice Memorial Day!

Spring
I created this page for the current challenge at American Crafts. It is to create a Spring themed page using American Crafts products. These photos were taken at a park by our house. Less than a week prior, this tree had no leaves at all. I just love Spring :)

Easter
Boy, this was hard! This page was created based on the sketch from The Scrappiest. The sketch itself looks cute, but I had hard time choosing papers. I first cut up a Basic Grey paper and My Minds Eye paper. But the papers I thought go together didn't really go well. Anyway I cut up 2 more papers into triangles before I settled on these papers used. I'm glad I finished it though.
Teenage Girl
I scrapped this page earlier this week for the current challenge at ScrapFit. It's a cardstock only challenge. They let you use all the embellies you want but no patterned papers. I decided to have fun with this one and here is what I ended up with. I used a transparency frame over the photo. Then I added ribbons, chipboard pieces, rub-ons, etc.

Project 12: April
This is the monthly 2-pager for April. April came and went very quickly and May's half way over. I realize I haven't taken any photos this month yet. The papers and the color palette used here are not my usual choices. But it was kinda refreshing to try something different.
Self-portrait
Here is the page I created based on Sketch 64 from The Scrappiest. A new sketch will be released tomorrow and I wanted to finish this one up today.

Happy NSD !!
Hello my fellow scrappers! and Happy National Scrapbooking Day!! I am planning to scrap a lot this weekend :):) To kick off the celebration, I decided to participate in a blog hop hosted by Scrapbook Challenges. They have come up with this cute sketch just for the hop. The hop starts right here at Pamela's blog. After visiting all the DTs blogs, you can also participate it by creating a post like this. All the details and other participants blog links, as well as huge prize information can be found in this thread. I have joined their blog hop before and it was fun and inspirational to see lots and lots of different takes on the same sketch. So come join us!! Here is the sketch and right below is my take. We had some rain and it's cloudy. Sorry for the bad photo. If you are hopping, go back to this thread for the link to the next person.

Nature's Gift
This one here was scrapped based on a sketch from Creative Scrappers. It was an extra sketch for the month that showcased the reveals from their sponsor, my Scrapbook Nook. I love this combination of the borders, a circle, and a square.
Snow on my car
I created this page using the current sketch from The Scrappiest. Yes, I am still working on those snow photos. I'm seeing the end of the tunnel though:) The sketch calls for 2 photos but I stretched the sketch a little horizontally and added one extra.

Project 12 -- March
This is my 3rd monthly 2 page layout this year. I am so glad that I decided to join the project 12 this year. My dd turned 16 and that was definitely the hightlight of the month. So I picked the photos from her birthday night. I had already decided to use these "Happy Day" papers by sei. With the papers already picked and the great sketch to work with, it was fairly easy to put this 2-pager together. And it turned out to be a no-flower layout! Go figure!! This will be submitted to Scrapbook & Cards Today and Davinie's blog. I am looking forward to seeing other scrappers' takes :)

Dream Big
This is my entry to this month's challenge at Scrap A Little. It is to create a page inspired by a song of the DT's choice. There are 6 great songs to choose from and you can find them out by hopping the DTs' blogs. It was such a fun visiting them and finding out the songs and their layouts. I chose Kayla's pick, Dream Big by Ryan Shupe & The Rubberband.
