Wrapping up the week...
I am posting the rest of the pages I created this week since last Saturday post. I just went thru my photo folder and did some counting. I scrapped 38 pages and 12 cards this month!! No wonder this month went by soooooooo quickly. I really want to scrap some more this afternoon, but I'm gonna close out all the browsers and work on my taxes........maybe.
What Do You See ?
Sassy Lil' Sketches, Dirty Scraps, and ScrapFIT joined forces and are hosting a blog hop this weekend. I have participated some challenges at 2 of these great scrappy blogs and was already familier with them. So I immediately decided to participate when I found out about the hop. With this blog hop, you would complete a layout. Each of 3 blogs has come up with a prompt to make up a challenge. So the challenge is to use a sketch, to scrap about reflection, and to use ribbons and silver. I scrapped a photo of my dd taken inside her bathroom. She was standing right in front of the mirror. I also used a mirror bird. I have almost forgotten that I had one. The actual sketch is a multi photo sketch. I don't print photos myself and I don't have any small size photos. But some DTs made multi-photo layouts and they are fantastic!

Hi Girl !
I really enjoy working with sketches. This one here is created based on a sketch from Sassy Lil' Sketches. They are hosting a blog hop this weekend and I am hoping to be able to participate :)
Beary Cute
Here is the layout I made using a sketch from The Scrappiest. I've been enjoying playing with their sketches. This is the sketch #53. I took these photos of my dd with her teddy. It was a birthday gift when she turned 4.

I've been productive....
I have been very busy creating this month. It's been cold and I've been staying indoors. But it's getting harder and harder to find more time to be on the computer these days. I spent the entire evening just browsing scrappy sites the other day. It's so much fun to see other scrappers' creations and read their blogs or the scrappy forums. But I don't even leave comments most of the time. I haven't been able to upload my layouts to this blog or my online gallery as often as I want to. When I try to go to bed at a decent time so that I won't be too tired at work the next day, I just have to compromise somewhere.... Enough excuses here... anyway, I am posting the pages I've made this month. I may be missing a few and I am not positng the cards I made. The most of these were created for challenges or with sketches. I am hoping I can get a few pages done this weekend. Have a nice one girls!!
Bob (the pen)
Don't ask me why but she had named one of her pens "Bob" and she couldn't find it when we moved and unpacked boxes. She was so happy when she finally found him..LOL. She used to doodle a lot on her hands back then, too. Anyway I created this page for BASB's challenge. It is to scrap with cardstock only with minimal use of small embellishments. I glimmermisted the small cardstock circles to make lollipop flowers. I have done no patterned papers pages before but I find it harder to make cardstock only pages. Those girls over there are so great with it though. The examples are very pretty!
Love
I have created a few love themed pages this past week and a half or so. I may do one more this weekend. This one was done using a sketch from The Scrappiest. Another cute sketch, don't you agree? I made this page monochromatic in the color pink for ScrapFit challenge as well :)

One of a Kind
I created this layout for the challenge at My Mind's Eye. It is to use their sketch and red or pink. I also used MME papers for the flowers and MME rub-on for the title. This sketch was so easy to work with :)

14
I picked up these photos yesterday with a layout in mind. I was going to do a page for February Challenge at Scrap A Little. My dh got this ice cream cake from Baskin Robins but we realized we didn't have enough regular candles nor the number 4 candle. So here is what we did. If you can do a math....LOL The challege was to create a birthday themed page with a number visible on the page.
I Love U
I scrapped this page yesterday for the current challenge at American Crafts. It is to create a Valentine themed page. I used these photos I took earlier this month. She is a talker and I thought those American Crafts ribbons would go very well with her photos :)
Supplies: Papers: American Crafts, Teresa Collins, Ribbons: American Crafts, Letters: American Crafts, Chipboard: Me & My Big Ideas, Flowers: Prima

January- Project 12
This is the first of monthly 2 pagers. I am participating the project 12 at Scrapbook & Cards Today. I used a calendar for the title. I have those Maya Roads calendars for the entire year and am planning to use them for each month. This 2-page layout will go right after the title page.

School Days
I had fun creating this page. I thought the horizontal border being above the photos rather than under the photos was unique. I made it using the current sketch from The Scrappiest and with mostly Cosmo Cricket papers. The day those photos were taken was her very first day of Middle School and her very first day of riding a school bus. All the way thru her elementary years, we took her to school in the morning and picked her up in the evening. Anyway, on that day, it started raining and I was waiting for her outside. The rain got harder and harder and although I was holding an ambrella, my jeans got soaked. The funny thing is.... it was just a shower and by the time her bus got here, it had stopped raining!!

Star
I was going to post this one tomorrow along with a few other ones. But I realize tomorrow is 2/14 and wasn't sure if there was a due date for this one. So I decided to go ahead and post it tonight. This page was created based on a sketch from Sassy Lil' Sketches. There will be a new sketch coming out tomorrow. Can't wait to see it :)
Winter Wonderland
It snowed yesterday. It was bad enough that schools and lots of businesses were closed and we had shorter hours at my work. This photo here was from December. It rarely snows here so when it does, we have to take advantage of it. That means playing and taking photos :) Anyway this layout was created based on Julie's sketch at Imaginisce. I am a big fan of Julie's sketches and I am so glad I had these Polar Expressions line so I could play :) I don't know what to do when I run out of it...

I'm a big girl & go!
These are both done based on sketches from My Sketch World. These pictures are from a city fair that we went when my dd was 5. We had such a good time. I remember like it was just yesterday :)

In a hurry girl & Smiling at me
I have participated a crop this weekend and am posting a couple of pages I made. Although it is a loose interpretation, the first one was created using a sketch from Scrapbook Challenges. And the second one was made based on a sketch from Creative Scrappers. Today is the first day of the month and am busy visiting scrappy blogs :) I also made 2 cute purses out of papers. Hopefully, I can post them and other layouts I made over the weekend sometime this week. Have a nice week !!
