Don't splash me!

This was done for BASB's current challenge. It is to scrap what irks you. I sat out the last challenge and wanted to participate this one. But it took me a while to come up with the idea. Since I am working on my dd's album, I picked these photos from the next set of photos I am scrapping. She loved floating but didn't like to be splashed. I used Page Plans sketch #45. It's a loose interpretation of the sketch.

I started this page last night and just finished. Did this for Cafe Mojo's lace/ribbon challenge. I also used a Pink Sketches' sketch. Used Mardi Gras colors :) The photo is one of many I took when we went to see the float display on 1/2/05.

Dreamgirls is having American Crafts challenge. I had 2 sheets of papers and some embellishments. The chipboard hearts are also American Crafts. I cut leaf-shaped ones and made them into the hearts. I feel this page needs some improvements. It is not balanced or something. But it's done for now. I cut out some leaves and cut a circle out of the flower pattern paper yesterday morning. I flipped what was left of the leaf paper and adhered onto the brown cardstock. I went ahead and adhered the circle and photos. I was going to scraplift myself with the layout I made 2 weeks ago titled Charming. But after that, I couldn't arrange leaves and flowers the way I liked. So I left it alone until this evening. Therefore, this is the only page I finished this weekend.

Cute

I made another page with this same sketch from 52 Sketches...52 Weeks that I used yesterday for the layout, Sweetie. I had such a hard time yesterday and was not very happy with it. So I just had to do another one. I like this one much better. During Love Fest Crop over at WeScrap 2 weekends ago, there was a challenge to use bling. So I decided to get this one done for it as well. I also created 2 more pages tonight!!! 3 on a weekday night!! I will post them tomorrow (hopefully). I've got to go to bed.....
